SHARE Extender is an "add-on" to the MS-DOS SHARE 
utilitiy.  Share was invented back in the day when 
the PC was still mostly a Personal computer, and 
DOS rarely multi-tasked or accessed file servers.  

The SHARE TSR must first be loaded before this 
SHARE Extender TSR can be loaded.  SHARE Extender 
adds additional features to SHARE that make it 
better suited for todays file sharing environments.  

The SHARE Extender TSR can be unloded.  The utility 
SHEXTCTL is the control panel for SHAREEXT.  


My testing seems to indicate that SHARE Extender 
works with both MS-DOS 6.22 and FreeDOS 1.3 SHARE.
