Ping (ver 2.2.10) Abandoned Freeware Ping is a utility to test whether a host can be reached via the Internet. You must have the "WATTCP.CFG" file in the same directory as Ping. The Wattcp file needs to first be configured with your IP information. ping [-?dfhstv] [-c count] [-C COM-port] [-w wait] server [size] PING will not generate more than one request per second, it also attempts to block broadcast attempts. Option 'd' sets PING in a debugging mode. If you do not specify the number of attempts to be made, only one attempt will be made. Specifying '-s' will ping the other machine once per second for a very long time. Option 'v' displays version with which Ping was compiled and the compilation date, as well as listing of valid switches. Option '?' just displays a listing of valid switches.
