NTIME (ver 2.2.9) Abandoned Freeware NTIME reads a Time Server to request the current time from the Network. The Time protocol uses TCP port 37, and is defined in RFC-868. You must have a "WATTCP.CFG" file in the same directory as NTIME. The Wattcp file needs to first be configured with your IP information. NTIME [-?dv] [-a min] server Computers are supposed to respond with the number of seconds since Jan 1, 1900 GMT. Note that many improperly return the current time adjusted to the daylight savings time and time zone. NTIME allows you to use option 'a' to specify addminutes if you need to add or subtract a certain number of minutes to the returned time. Option 'd' sets TCP-debugging. Option 'v' displays version with which NTIME was compiled and the compilation date, as well as listing of valid switches. Option '?' just displays a listing of valid switches.
