SIDPLOT (ver unknown) Abandoned Freeware SIDPLOT is a data entry program that accepts Sudden Ionispheric Disturbance (SID) observation information and outputs it in the standard American Association of Variable Star Observers (AAVSO) SID reporting format. Output is a text file with the extension ".DAT". The name of the file will be constructed from the entered SID Observer ID, followed by the VLF station call sign. If no file with this name exists, it will be created. If the file name already exists, data will be appended. The data file will be in the same directory as SIDPLOT. NOTE: You can enter a fake SID Observer ID if you only use this program for your own purposes. However if you plan on sending the data to the AAVSO, you will need to first acquire an unique ID from the AAVSO Solar Division. Allthough the DOS version is no longer being updated, you can get the latest Windows version from the AAVSO.
