LSTSQR87 (ver 1.00A) Abandoned Freeware LSTSQR87 requires an 8087 math coprocessor (which is already built into the Pentium and newer CPUs). LSTSQR87 is a plotting program designed to carry out a least-squares fit of data to one or more of several functional forms, including linear, polynomial, logarithmic, exponential, and others found in science and engineering. This program allows multiple fits of the same data, using the same or different math functions, without exiting the program. In addition, LSTSQR87 provides many measures of quality-of-fit, including standard deviation and the 95% confidence interval. LSTSQR87 can also print or graphicly plot the fit if desired. Data can be inputed either directly from the keyboard, or imported from a data file.
